As the subject title

I have Windows XP Home with Service Pack 1 installed.

My motherboard is an Epox 8k3a

The installation process does not complete with the message "An error
occurred during the installation of the device" followed underneath by "The data is invalid"

When looking in device manager there is a yellow question mark with an exclamation mark beside "ATM Network Controller" and "Base System Device"

In device properties the device status reads "This device is not configured
correctly. (Code 1)" with a message to reinstall the drivers.

I have tried using the Win XP driver on the supplied disk and downloading the latest Connexant Drivers but it still does not work.
