Installed and now my SB Audigy stopped making any sounds beyond the logon sound. But I don't blame it on MS. We all know that Creative was unable to produce bug-free drivers for Live for over 2 years.
Audigy was definitely my last purchase from that company.

Okay, this has been puzzling me for quite some time.

Why do people post posts like this in the XP..or 2K forum?

Please explain this to me...because mabye I'm missing something.

I have been using the RC1 and 2, with ATI Beta DX9 drivers, and no issues so far.

ATI Released new drivers today, that seem to work fine, so I am happy.

This forum is confusing IMO. We have topics in wrong areas, topics that shouldn't be on the site at all

Since I've been reworking my unattended installs lately, does anyone know how to do an unattended install of DX9? The method I use for 8.1 does not work, and as usual documentation on this is scarce. I don't actually plan on deploying this now, it's way too new, but I would like to know how it's done.
