Bradband sharing help

i am linking my 2 pcs together with a hub
i also want to get broadband
since the modem only conencts in one pc is it possible to share the conenction or do u need another wire from the other pc or something
can someone please explain how networking works aswell
what if the pc with the adsl modem is off?

Yeah, I would agree for the most part, I have a Linksys BEFSR41, and it can really vary on quality depending on the firmware versions... Lately Linksys seems to be breaking more than fixing with the latest firmware patches... For example, uPNP in 1.44 is broken.

I use a combo of ISA and the DLINK DI614+ for firewall and WAP, though I do recommend Linksys to most of my customers. Makes me wish I bought stock in that company a year or two ago
