I purchased a Conexant ADSL router as a few house mates and i wish to share an internet connection. However a few of my house mates who are on the network nolonger want to share my connection. Is there some way i can provent them from gaining access to the internet via my router.

The router is connected to a switch via RJ45 cable. All other computers are connected via this switch including myself.

All the computers are Running XPPro/Home

Thankyou for any help you may be able to offer.

I know it's possible with a Linksys BEFSR41, try checking the documentation that came with the router.

You'll probably need to load the web-based firmware utility, which is usually done by typing the router's IP in the address bar of your browser. The default IP is usually 192.168.1.1
