Does anyone know how to rename the start button in w2k? In 98 there was a prg called winboost that did it for ya. But haven't been able to find anything like that for w2k. Any suggestions, hints, directions would be greatly appreciated. :x

I know it's possible in XP, but you have to edit Explorer.exe with a hex editor. Perhaps a skinning program would be a better bet. Maybe Windowblinds or something similar.

Look for a program called Resource Hacker and use that to edit explorer.exe. I can't give you exact details since the page I got my info from has since been taken down.
