Do you have the latest DirectX installed? How about a recent video driver and sound driver?

I have a computer with 512 MB, and in the Task Manager I have noticed that this particular game uses this amount of memory and much more during gameplay.
It seems it came with some bug.
If it helps you, I have Windows 2000 SP3, and the Direct X Version wich installs from Heroes 4 CD.
If you won't buy more memory, I recommend you the:
Heroes III Complete, which runs very well with 128 MB, and is
also an excellent and quite addictive game.
Heroes OM&M Forever.

i've got Heroes of Might and Magic 4 and Icewindale 2 and problem with them; when i try to run these games some strange error is shown (text is in Polish because i am Polish but it doesn't matter; it means that my game have made an error: improper page in module or something like that).
A few questions... What version of Windows are you running? 98? ME? Which video and sound cards do you have installed, and are their drivers current? Also, are you running the polish language versions of both Windows and the games? I've seen some incompatibilites if 3rd party (English-language) programs are installed on non-English Windows versions.
