what comic is that till today, i didnot face anything like this.
while booting,
I get the screen "windows 2000 is booting" then get the blue nice win 2000 picture, and suddenly the blue screen, white message:
"STOP: 0x0000007B .. INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE"
I can reach the MBR via a win98 created bootdisk, primary partition is ntfs and extended also can be seen ,,
what advice?? i dont wanna install win2k again....

Boot with the Windows 2000 CD, choose 'Repair' option.
