i installed windows media player and we where watiching a video with media player and the sound was messed up so we adjusted some sound settings in the media player propeerties and in windows properties such as when u double click on the little speaker icon down there, well my games such as quake audio is wierd like the treble, tone, and bass is to low, so i unistalled media player same issue .

do u guys know a way to set the complete defualts of the sound properties in windows 2000 pro sp3

If you are using soundblaster audigy, there is the option under: Creative -Sound Blaster Audigy - Creative Restore Defaults.
