hey. I have a computer using win2k advanced server running ICS. It works fine except if a client tries to login to hotmail, they are unable to. It just times out. Any ideas what is wrong?

thanks in advance.

Are users able to login to other sites that use SSL? The login process to Hotmail routes initially to a passport site that uses SSL for authentication.

I had kind of figured it was related to SSL, but hadn't thought of trying any other websites that use it. Do you know of any other websites that use SSL that I might see if it is a SSL problem or just unique to hotmail.

PayPal comes to mind, although I can't think of any others off the top of my head...

What os/service packs are running on the client machines? Perhaps all that is necessary is to install the high-encryption pack or SP2 for Windows 2000.
