I am having trouble with my Sims Game.
I am am able to load the game, but it freezes at the blue livin large splash screen.

I have tried the shortcut fix with -skip_intro, -skip_verify, -nodx6 -w, & -nosound.
Various combinations were unsucessful.

I ran dxdiag and everything tests ok.

Hardware:
Laptop
Windows 2K SP3
128 MB Ram
ATI Rage 8MB Graphics Card

All hardware & software drivers are current.

EA support pretty much said Win 2K was not supported and get lost. nice, huh?

Any help you guys can give me would be great
