I know what you mean, I just sold my server because it became obsolete. It used to hold our MP3s, with these two new 80Gig drives I bought, I just hold all the data now.

I think that once you reach a certain point, most people will never see the difference.

Current:

Work - P!!! 933
New work comp - either a p4 2.4 or a 2.66 - not decided yet, could go with a 2.8, but then i have to get dual 17' instead of 19' monitors laugh

Home - p4 1.8
Home toronto - p4 1.4 (was o/c to 1.7 but took it down as i don't use it much)

Currently: Pentium II 400 overclocked to 516 IIRC.

Yes, I know isn't much (29%) but not only am I limited by my current cooling solution (in particular the distinct lack of serious case cooling and the fact the CPU still has its stock cooler attached and being a SECC2 package I'm not about to destroy the cartridge just to change it) my 4x multiplier lock gets in the way too.

Working towards: AMD Athlon XP 2200+

I have a case but thats it. I plan to get a CD burner and DVD-ROM for it in a fortnights time and will keep adding stuff to it as I can afford it.

p4 1.6 running at 2.3 or 2.4, 2.4 needs a bit more voltage than i like though so usually 2.3 smile

I have a Celeron Tualatin 1,3 GHz and an old Celeron 433 @ 541 MHz. Not too fast but next upgrade is a GF4200ti or an 8500 radeon.

If you wait until NV30 is released, I'm sure the cost of both cards will drop...
