not doing anything intensive, and it happens randomly, sometimes while surfing others when idle. also there is a temp file from Kazaa that has attached itself to my drive and i cannot delete it. it says that the file is in use but this is with kazaa closed (along with every other program on the computer). this problem is recent. the explorer problem has been for over a month now. it totally locks up and i have to kill and restart it to operate the system.
amd-1.533ghz-256ram-dual hard drives.

i think you got either:
A. a virus.
B. a trojan.
C. a psuedo spyware program that allows people to download off of your system. (very trojan like) that came with kazaa for a while and may still.
D. a broken explorer.exe (least likely)

www.kazaalite.com for all kazaa goodness.
its kazaa without da crap.

Good thinking... I'd run a GOOD antivirus program that's recently been updated, and then Adaware.... Or perhaps I'd just format and reinstall..

laugh

Kazaa Lite is much better...

[Edit]
Also maybe run a port-scanner?
