my problem is that my pc takes a loooooot of time to start the internet explorer when i clik it, but the the performance on all other applications is very, very good, it just happens with the internet explorer.


P.S.:i think i got no service pack installed for iE6, but the critical updates, it may help, shouldn't it??

Have you tried emptying out the Temporary Internet files?
Does IE try to connect to a web site when you open it, or does it open to a blank page? You can speed up loading no end by starting with a blank page.
