XP is crahsing constantly so is win2k how can I......

I get BSOD constantly on XP and or 2000, I gor wrecked hardware in there somewhere,, and the memory address is same every time,

HGow can i find uot which driver, device is causing it?

Personally, if multiple OS's are having problems, it's most likely a hardware problem... I'd start by pulling some ram out... Then try a good 300+ watt power supply... Also while you're in the case, ensure all your fans are functioning properly. Most likely bad ram, though.

Ive pulled evrything and reproduiced the crash, so im sure its hardware, and rotated my ram and produced same crash with all different ram, so it inst the ram sticks themselves. whT I am hoping for is someone will know an app that can show me which driver is running at this particular address, which is same everytime

If you have anything above 64mb of ram, (which I'm sure you do) the likelyhood of the same driver being loaded into the exact same location everytime is so remarkably low, I would rule that out 100%. Do you have any dos-based diagnostic utilities you can run? I have had a few over the years that would perform burn-in tests, off of a boot disk. This may be the next step you need to take, since you are having the problem from within both 2k and xp. I don't remember any good dos-based burn-in software off-hand, but perhaps another user will have some suggestions. If you have a spare power supply, possibly from another computer, can you swap that out to test?

IRQ not less or equal - this error is an incompatible device with Win2k/WinXP. What legacy hardware do you have?

Also check into a BIOS upgrade for your motherboard. If you have old hardware and pulled it all, then start looking on the motherboard.

IRQ not less or equal is not indicative of memory failure. If the memory address is the same every time, I'd wager that it's a motherboard problem (incompatible BIOS or incompatible/failed internal hardware).

If you recive this BSOD it's incompatible hardware, it could be usb, sound, modem, network... anything that uses irq's (microsoft says). [http://www.microsoft...d_exe_igcc.htm]

I have the same problem from time to time, but i can install without problems. I suspect it's the sound card (creative SB128PCI). Try to disable bios caching (shadowing), usb, onboard sound, modem, raid controlers..., than remove any sound, modem... cards. If you still get the BSOD try just the motherboard + processor + ram + hdd +1cdrom. If you still get the roblem change the MoBo. (yeah btw also try the latest bios). Good luck!
