Hello everyone, I am fairly new to these forums... I hope that I can share my expertise with Windows 2000 and most hardware problems.. I look forward to getting to know the 'regulars' and helping you solve problems! If anyone is interested, I am A+ certified, and I am working on my CCNA now...

My primary system:

Asus P4B533-E
P4 2.26GHz 533MHz bus
768MB DDR 2100
Pny Geforce4 ti4400
80GB Maxtor D740X
60GB Maxtor (Model # Unknown, 7200rpm)
Ricoh 12x CDRW
Netgear FA311 NIC
Primary OS: Win2k Pro, SP3
Secondary OS: .Net Advanced Sever

Secondary system:
Asus CUBX
P3 650MHz 100MHz bus
1024MB PC100 SDRAM
VisionTek Geforce2 ti
80GB Maxtor D740X
(2) Sony 52x CDROMs
SB Audigy MP3
Promise ATA133 Controller
Netgear FA311 NIC
OS: Win2k Pro, SP2**

I have a Linksys KVM connecting both machines to a ViewSonic 19" CRT..

** SP3 is apparently incompatible with the current version of Promise drivers, as someone else noted in another thread.

I think that's everything.. If you want more info, let me know.

(Edit) Current roles of both machines: using secondary system as a lite network file server, and print server. Primary is used for for gaming, testing programs, everyday stuff...

Agreed Alec, I mean you got over 2000+ posts here, I am still working in the 500 range here, but I mean even 500 is alot of posts for one forum, you get that special feeling of being a veteran or something...

Long may you enjoy your stay.

I have been around here a while now, but I don't know if I am classed as a regular by Da Posse. Although I do class myself as a regular.

Heh..Time will tell. smile
