Ron_Jeremy 0 Posted August 27, 2002 XP prompts me to re-enter my password if my computer is inactive for a short while. Normally, this is fine & dandy. But, it is a pain in the @ss while I'm watching a DVD ;( I forget how to disable this, or extend the time before the password prompt appears. Can someone please throw me a bone here? iks 0 Posted August 27, 2002 Hmmm but computer still goes to standby mode, what is still annoying... You shuld try to set that computer never goes to standby mode... It's somewhere under this power button too... But most of today's DVD players can prevent your computer to go to the standby mode... Just chechk player's options... You shuld find it somewhere...
