the cool thing about about blank is that if you are surfing and you want to go all the way back to the first site you visited you can click back multiple times and you will end up at that page rather than your homepage because about:blank doesn't count as a loaded page.

Yep, about blank, that's my favourite.
For a lot of reasons... sometimes I just stare at the blank page and decide not to surf and do something else.
