i have sound blaster live! 5.1 n when i updated 2 the newest drivers it messed up the sound
everytime i listened 2 music or watched movies on my comp i always hear scratches n it seems 2 slow down the movie since the music seems 2 be going slower
any1 kno wat the prob is?

i tried the pci latency patch (all of em) n i tried live!ware n neither worked so any other ways of fixing it would be nice

i hate 2 do this but out of the 11,790 people here there is only 1 person who has an idea on how 2 fix this?

Try lowering the sound acceleration (to "Basic").

Alternatively try uninstalling the drivers and installing some older ones.
