Hi all,
I have an Enermax 350W PSU (dual fan) with ActivePFC. It really shines on all the lines, delivering more than default values, but that's not my problem smile

Once in a while it makes a humming noise, almost like a buzz, hard to explain, it comes in cycles. I observe the voltage on all lines thru Asus Probe and I see no changes while it buzzes. The only problem is that the noise becomes quite annoying after a while...it's not loud but it surely can be noticed.

Do any of you have this PSU and experienced anything like this? The actual model is "Enermax EG365AX-VE ActivePFC"...And what's the real difference between ActivePFC and PFC, I kinda know the answer but Im not sure...

That sound is your fan...
It might be on your case, top of your CPU or the PSU.
That specific fan has to be replaced since it is caused by worn bearings.

No it's not the fan, the whole rig is 2 weeks old, the fans cannot have worn bearings yet smile It is a sound coming FROM inside the PSU.
