Hi i've got a conexant/rockwell soft56k internal modem and i had try to install it under windows xp.
My problem is that when i install the drivers the system doesn't create the virtual com3 port (or com4) but i have to choose com1 or com2 port.
This is the first time that i install an internal modem with winxp and when i did the same thing under win98 i had never got problems.
If anyone can help me ?? Thanks a lot bye Nuaz

HAve you tried a different PCI slot?

Try that first then see if it installs
