I'm having a problem running Spiderman - the movie and GTA3, whenever I click either icon on my desktop nothing happens.
I tested dx with dxdiag and got the following message when testing hardware-accelerated dx8 interfaces:

Problem with Directx 8.1

I think it may be the 29.42s, I have the same problem with the those 2 games not working. My DirectX Diag problems are different. Searching for solution.

I'm pretty sure I did try the fix, do you know where I can get from so I can try it again.
