Fleet Command Patch 1.1

I finally got Fleet Command installed on Win2K by using Sonalysts NT installer, but my troubles aren't over yet.

Has anybody found a way to patch this game to version 1.1?

Found the solution myself, but not where you might expect.

Instead of using a previously downloaded version of the patch you need to download a new version. They still call it 1.1 update but they have changed the patch so that it'll work, probably, on all NT versions of Windows.
