hi,
im not getting any sound in .net 3628. dxdiag says that there is a problem with microsoft synthesizer. it is the default sound port, and i cannot change it. if i test with my sound card's port, it works. the sound card was working in xp.

As mentioned in a previous thread by clutch, a lot of systems in .NET are disabled by default in the betas, including the sound.

I'd paste a link for that thread in here, but I can't find it atm.

Besides, you don't need sound in a server. It just adds instabilities.
