Is that the fake "pixelshader" motionblur? then that has been known a long time, remember the tiger demo of motionblur? just some stripes behind it, awful. No, real motion-blur is when the moving parts are rendered several times and is melted together.

When an object moves fast across the screen, it generates automatically a motion blur effect. I think it's an overkill to implement that in hardware, and what would be the benefit of it anyway????

You get built in motion blur on every LCD! smile
But I think this looks really cool. The more tools, the better.
