Hi all I just got an Audigy Soundcard and am already regreating my purchase

First up System Specs:
Windows XP Pro
Geforce 2 Pro
512MB RAM
Pentium 4 1.7Ghz
Audigy Platinum ex.

In games if i select Hardware Mode for sound, i loose all sound in the game.
In games that include EAX 2.0 or 3.0 Options as well as hardware support I loose all sound when i enter a Building. E.g. Shadow Force Razor Unit all sound is lost when entering any area with walls around you on 4 sides.

I have a Desktop thearter 5.1 Digital Speaker system.

Any Help appreciated.
