Hi all,
i hope someone can help me out.

I have Windows XP Pro installed with IE6 and a NTL Cable Modem. Protecting the system i have Norton Personnel Firewall and IE seetings are set to medium.

On 60% of all websites i get a cannot find server message. On windows Update I get 2 problems.
1) Windows Update gets to 75% and stops working.
2) It gets to 100% with updates and generates a cannot find server message when any link is clicked.

I have reset the Defaults in IE6, Set the Temp folder to 10MB, Deleted all files in Temp Internet Folder including cookies. Cleared Downloaded programs list all to no avail evan a reinstall of XP never worked.

Any Help Appreciated.

Have you tried turning off Norton and using the built in firewall?
