Check permissions on the Hard drives. Make sure that the user has rights to their own folder.

It could also be a computer account problem. Try logging into the nt workstation as a domain admin, then choose to join the domain. Make sure you select to create a computer account in the domain. This should create a computer account and allow you to log off and rejoin as a regular user.
