Here's the problem:

The upshot appears to be that unless i make a paid support call to Microsoft, they won't give me the file.

After a little more digging, it seems that the hot fix i need is called Q307716_W2K_SP3_X86_EN.exe

Is this the whole service pack or is this just the scripting patch. If anyone can mail me this file i would appreciate it.

If i'm doing the wrong thing here or breaking any rules, i'm sorry. I'd just prefer not to wait for a whole service pack to fix one small issue.
