Power Soccer 98

Can't get power soccer 98 to run on XP. Message: C:\Program Files\Psygnosis\adidas\ Power Soccer 98\DXaPS98.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Tried the compatibilty options to no avail.

Any suggestions.
