Hey,

For some reason I can't find anywere in XP to set the screen saver password. Now im not an idiot and I have looked in every single place in the display properties and i cant seem to find it, or anywere else on my computer for that matter. This is probably a dumb question but can anyone out there tell me how to set a screen saver password on my computer. Im running WinXP Proffesional, and i dont have any fancy screen savers or anything.

Thanx,

Masterfinn

Where you select your screensaver, you should see a checkbox below it that reads "On resume, password protect". This is what you are looking for.

Well, if you have a password to your account (Control Panel -> User Accounts), and you select "display welcome screen on resume", then it will essentially be password protected. (it's the equivalent of pressing Windows Key + L)
