Hey all. I've been away from these boards for a while, but wanted to say it's good to be back. These boards are without question the place to be for NT info.

I found a DX6 hack for NT4 after exhaustive searches on the 'Net. While being a little hesitant to install it, I figured "why not?" & went ahead with the install. Although I haven't noticed much difference, what I did notice is that NT4 is still as stable as ever (for me anyway) even though the author of the DX hack explicitly stated installing it "...may ruin your day...".

I haven't installed any games on it other than Counter-Strike, which runs fantastic (though it always did). I was wondering if anyone has had similar good fortunes running any DX hacks on their NT4 box(es), & what (if any) differences you noticed?
