Nvidia has its now famous NForce chipset, and the new board out from Microstar has potential in my mind for customers needing performance on a budget.
I was wondering what y'alls thoughts were.
From what I have seen, it looks pretty solid, using DDR ram (of course), and supporting AMD chips from Duron 600's through the new XP's...

It's pretty pricy, even for MSI. I'll probably pass out when I see the price tag for Asus A7N266 mobo. Anand did a preliminary test of the Nforce platform awhile back with the on-board video. [H]ardOCP did a review not to long ago, but didn't test the on-board video.

I think it's gonna be the chipset that OEM's will fall in love with. The mobo is expensive in relation to others, but when you consider the integrated stuff sets the bar for on-board video and sound, you realize this is gonna rock. Of course, if you want Nforce for gaming, you could always buy an X-Box;)
