PHP Nuke alternatives?

Know someone here alternatives to PHP Nuke? Nuke is taking too many resources on the server and i need a fast portal system that handle a lot traffic.

I am using php-news at the moment on a site I am starting up, very good.

Have a look at http://php.resourceindex.com and http://cgi.resourceindex.com for other news scripts.
