Hey, I have a Home network wiht dsl and a Netgear RT314, I just got win xp pro, and i set that other comp can view it but whne i go to access my xp box from the 98 box, i get error code 31. wtf is with that?

well, i do have netbios, and same work group and i can see the other comps on my network, its when i try to open up a share on a diff computer, and i can the other computer

I can view folders/files on the win98se box from the xp box, but not viceversa

well i dont see where it says xp firewall and yes i have tried all those other things,

okie, those were never running anyhow and all i have is my router as a firewall, and no firewalls between computers only a firewall between my computers and the internet

I do have a Netgear RT314 running a DCHP server and not using ANY software firewall just the net gear one

every box can reach the net, and the uplink to my 12port hub every port on that too can get on the net and see the other computers
