Please help (about scsi in XP)

I installed XP everthing works ok (the sound pops and crackles a bit??)but i cant seem to get my tekram DC-315/U scsi to work, XP knows its there but says the driver is not compatible or need to be updated of something.

I went to Tekram site for an XP driver and there is nothing.

Could it be my mobo driver set?? i have an ASUS A7V133C.

Anyone???
