Hi. I have my PC set up in duel boot with 98 and XP, each
on C: and E: respectively. I have tons of files, whose
extension is 000, on my E:. My question is what are these
files for and could I delete them to save HD space?
Thank you in advence.

Usually yes. Have you ever used MSBACKUP, Doublespace/Drivespace, or Geoworks?

Thanks DosFreak.
No. I have used neither of softs you mentioned.
One curious thing is these files have same time stamps,
07/14/1997. It seems a bit odd 'cause I installed XP recently.
Is it possible it has something to do with some kind of virus?
My e: partion uses NTFS so I can't take a chance to delete these
from Win98.
