ICQ (You can live without it?confused )

DAP (you gotta have SOME sorta software. I should try out flashget, though I just converted someone back to dap from it, the traiter!)

IE (to find the stuff)

Bersirc (to discuss the stuff)

FlashFXP (to download/transfer the stuff)

Serv-U 3 (to get more stuff)

DAMN NFO Viewer (to learn about the stuff)

QuickSFV (to verify the stuff)

WinRAR (to extract the stuff)

Daemon-Tools (to test the stuff)

BlindWrite!! (to burn the stuff)

Java SDK 1.4

TextPad (for the java)

Yea, that's all I really do, download and burn stuff. Sometimes I do Java programming at home, sometimes homework too. I more often play one or two of the games from all that stuff above. wink If you like RTS games and want a good 100% polished one, go buy BattleRealms, it's tough and it's worth it!

Cynan, it's interesting to see what other people do with there time. It can sometimes give you a better idea of who they are and what they're all about. You shouldn't be so cynical, even though your name does look kinda similar. wink

well guess what? you just did! I used to use that before I 'saw the light' smile

Do you realise Audio Catalyst is a break-away version of Audiograbber ? audiograbber has since been updated quite a bit!

Not only that, but the mp3 encoder that comes with audiograbber doesn't compare to LAME

just extract the .dll from this zip into the audiograbber directory and make sure it is selected as the encoder in the mp3 settings.

note:

I recommend constant/192/stereo/high for lame.

That might be a bit overkill, so for lower bitrates use joint stereo. Or if u must use variable bitrate, put on highest!

whatever you do, leave it on 'high' quality because that makes the file smaller/better quality and the only trade off is it takes a bit longer to encode.

so install both of those, and you have the same interface but enhanced speed/quality and features as well as bug fixes/compatibilty!!!

as for my favourite apps, well, I'm going to have to come back with a (large) list!

sorry if it is considered 'unfavourable' to reawaken old topics!

but this one doesn't really go out of date. WE WANT MORE!! smile

Just thought in case it was overlooked, there is a

English audiograbber site

Getting a bit off topic, BUT:

Quote:
Is coded in PURE Borland Delphi too... Fastest code for Win32 exe generation there is under the sun!

Then why are all major games coded in C++? SPEED!!!! SURELY ITS SPEED!!!!
