Hello everybody.
I would like to install Oracle 8i under RedHat 8.0, but I don't now yet if this is possible.
Maybe somebody of you did this.
Please tell me if this is possible. Thanks in advance.

Well there used to be a book out about 9 months ago, titled oracle for linux. I don't see why not....

It's obviously that you didn't install it. There are a lot of things to be done before you can install, and I'm sure that I forgot something..... and I don't know what

Following the directions on this page should help.
Install Oracle on RH
It's for RH 7, but works for 8 as well.
