I have Voodoo 4, AGP, with latest XP drivers that were given at Windows update when I installed XP.

I can not start a game of Half-Life Blue shift. I always get this error message: " selected openGL mode is not supported by your video card."

I have almost 500 megs of ram, pentium 3 850mhz. I do not know what to do. I have tried setting all the video features in the game to the lowest values and still no luck.

any suggestions?

thanks, but did not work.

I do not get that message anymore but now a new problem. The game now hangs the computer if I try to load. i can not get out of it so I have to hard restart the system. i can play if I use D3D but this is not the best option'

thanks for the suggestion. I am stumped--what now? confused frown

Go buy a GF2 mX.

Very simple and easy solution, your voodoo isn't going to work properly in XP, err ever.
