Morpheus, LimeWire 1.8, Gnotella 1.0.5

Anyone else having problems with these in XP. Getting runtime errors with Morpheus, LimeWire 1.8 will not install (hangs with Java), and Gnotella will not function after install...any suggestions to make these function?

Do you have the latest Java plug-in for XP?

 

It's 1.3.1 and it's at the Sun web site.

I can't speak regarding the other products, but Morpheus 1.3 and earlier do not work. Update your copy to 1.3.3, which was the latest last time I checked. This version works fine.

when u say does not work.. do u mean it wont load? coz i installed it but it wont connect... when i tried registering a new user.. i got the msg that server wasnt responding or if i had a firewall that was the problem.. i turned the firewall off and still i couldnt connect... will d/ling a new copy solve my problem?
