Hi there,

I have a anoying issue.

I disabled the startup sound so I won`t have to listen to the anoying tune at startup but still I get one.
I guess that this may be caused by the Audigy software but I have no idea where/how to disable it.
Any help is greatly appreciated ofcourse wink

run msconfig and under startup there should be something like audigy starup. just disable that and you should be all set.

Thanks mate,
If it helps you are my hero till X-mass wink

I see that during startup the following application is started: ADGJDet.exe

Will disabling it cause any sideeffects beside getting rid of the startup-tune-from-hell ?
If so any alternative would be great..like the name/location of the evil sound so I can alter it.
Many thanks anyway

Unfortunately the msconfig thing did not work for me..it came back after restart.
Luckily, the solution was there to be found.

I go back to worshipping myself then I guess..thanks for the effort though wink
