Not sure, but their is some history to it. I'm reformatting on of my machines right now, so my main apps aren't available currnetly (like e-mail ) This isn't my site, but when someone comes up to you and offers you something, you tend to want to do something in return.;)That's why I'm pimping it.
It's a small community deal with the websites, but the main reason I'm jumping is that I can have advertisements on my website rather than have the annoying popup ads, which everybody hates.

Not trying to avoid the question, but I just don't have an answer.
I guess this is just to "share the wealth" and help a man out. They are trying to get member status up as their are very few members on the board. I don't know if they want to become the size of the [H]ardForum, but bigger than the 15 or so people last time I checked.
