Oldie w95 v.1 is not working wioth XP

I know this is a bit oldie but I have to stick with what I have got present. I have diffculties connecting w95 v.1 machine with XP machine on a peer network, where can I found info on this topic? Does any piece of software is needed to install on the w95 machine to cater for the file and printer sharing with XP? Thanks.
