Anyone know how to permanently enable the status bar in IE6 on XP? There is an option to show it in the View menu but it reverts to not being on when you relaunch IE...

I have this same problem, but it is much more random. Most of the time the status bar is there for me, but sometimes its not... anyone got any ideas?

If I press Ctrl+N to open a new window, the status bar is gone. Every time I do it. Very annoying.

Ah yes, now that you mention it, that's exactly what happens to me too. Anyone got any solutions?
