How to disable the "sliding" effect in the start m

As the topic says... Does anyone know how to get rid of the "sliding" effect occured everything when a new program starts in the start menu bar??? that seems pretty annoying...

Thanks... But I still couldn't find the "disable sliding effect" check box. Would you mind to do a screenshot for me please?

I searched the windows help, dig around all of the possible option menus in xp, installed and searched through the XPpowertoys...still no go...

Actually if you don't wanna then it is ok...I can still live with it...Thanks alot AlecStaar smile

Right click my computer on desktop if shown! or my computer in the start menu and scroll down to propeties left click this brings up the system propeties box. Left click advanced and then left click performance and this will display the viual effects uncheck slide taskbar buttons !!!
