Flight Simulator 2000 startup problems

Hello,
I have a question belonging to FS2000..i got it in the last days and i wanted to play it so I instaled it on my system. After the installation finished i wanted to start the game but there came the error that FS2000.exe is not a Win32-executable file. Is there a way to fix this problem?

My system:
Win XP
256 ram
Geforce 2 MX 32 bit
SB live 1024 soundcard
Asus CUSL 2 Motherboard
