Is there anyway to remove the damn build information from the desktop,im using an evaluation version of WinXP 2526 and it gets on my nerves big time?

go to the registry:
HKEY_USERS --> default --> control panel --> desktop
Now in the right windows you should find the key: PaintDesktopVersion
Make the value "0"

Thanks, but I've tried this and the value is already set to '0'... The build information is still there on my desktop...
