My Pictures, My Download Files...blah I want them to be gone

Ok, running Windows 2000.
I want My Pictures gone permanently.
I want My Download Files gone.
I want the From ICQ folder in my IE Favorites gone.
Man I freaking hate these folders and don't need them. When I delete them they freaking come back.

To "get rid of" From ICQ make it hidden and it doesn't show up in IE Favorites anymore.

I enable all hidden files, and hidden OS files, and protected files all the time so they are always there.

oh come on, did you try it? obviously not.....

trust me, if you set the properties to hidden, it will not show up in the favorites menu, regardless of your other settings....

Doesn't matter. Anything in your start menu or in your favorites that is hidden will not be displayed, even if you've set Windows to show hidden files and folders.
