I had this problem with XP RC2 and RTM. CDRWIN and Fireburner start to burn and then computer freezes halfway through it. I have a Plextor 12/10/32A, and it doesnt seem to matter what kind or brand of disks I use (RW or R).

I have installed (and reinstalled):
ForceASPI 1.7
Aspi4All
ASPI for XP

Anything I'm missing? Perhaps there is some software that interferes that I dont know about?
By the way I an now using CDRWIN 4.0 Beta, isn't that suppose to come with its own ASPI layer? Why doesnt it seem too install with it?

And no, I don't wanna use Nero, Roxio, etc... or anything else not ending in "ireburner" or "DRWIN" if I can help it.

when i install CDRwin, it ask me whether i want to install the ASPI driver with it, I clicked yes.
but then every time i burn a CD, it will give me a BSOD. so i reinstall it without the aspi driver, and it works fine then.
btw, i have ForceASPI 1.7 installed the whole time.
