nba live 2001 on xp 2600 problem

geforce 2 pro 32mb (240/400)
asus a7v-133
384mb ram
seagate barracuda III 30gb
SB Live! Value
Intellimouse Explorer
Microsoft Forcefeedback wheel
Logitech wingman extreme
Logitech Wingman Attack
Altec Lansin ACS54 4 speaker system
Logitech Internet Keyboard
Aopen HQ45a case

I am using the latest drivers for vid card, detonator xp and via 4 in 1.

I am having trouble running nba live 2k1 on winxp 2600. when i run nba live 2001 i gives me an error. the error is like

'NBA live has encountered an error and needs to be closed'

can anyone please help me? i really want to play it

I have no problem with NBA Live 2001 in WinXP.

No man, just installed the game and played. I did notice however on the box it said win2k wasnt supported so I was prepared in advance for problems in WinXP but to my amazement, not one single problem with the game. Btw, im not using the detonator xp drivers (didnt like em'), so I reverted back the 12.90's on a Visiontek GF3 and with I think but not for sure, the VIA 4in1 version 4.32.

(Dont expect to get it running in XP just because I did, im a oddball you see, I can even make Windows ME run flawlessy unlike the mass population who rant endlessly its the worst OS ever.

hmm... ill try the older drivers and see. i got winme to run flawlessly as well, the trick is not to install some programs like old ver of getright etc.. its just some progs are incompatible

Sorry guys and gals, but I just tried uploading to a geocities and then a tripod account for both of you to download but im on a 56k and the file is a little over 4Mb and I keep getting a time out error.

Sorry I have no further info... I just installed and played.

But this weekend I hope to pick up a few more of those EA, no Win2k support games to test out and see if I get the same results I get with NBA Live 2001.
